This course has been around for nearly ten years while we were formerly known as Defense Dynamics North Carolina. It gained popularity do to its easy going yet comprehensive training environment.  Young and seasoned individuals have walked away with a wealth of knowledge that became a foundation for further advancement in their professional lives.  Military, Law enforcement or just a better prepared and educated responsible citizen. Well, we got many requests to bring it back due to former students referring their friends and family. Our heartfelt appreciation goes out to all of you.

This course will introduce you to the most controversial firearm on the market.  You will have a complete understanding of this system and will be able to draw your own conclusion of this firearm.  Friend or Foe?

We will give you all the facts.  The rest is up to you!

 

Course topics will include, but not limited to the following:

The history, Nomenclature, Direct impingement and Piston (The difference), ammunition, zeroing, marksmanship fundamentals, reloads, malfunctions, firing positions, movement and fire, storage and safety, accessories, and more.

Participants will also engage in a range picnic filled with the most delicious food on the planet! Ok, I may be a little bias about the food, but I assure you it will be great.  Look at the bright side you will have the opportunity to burn it all off while you apply everything you have learned in a little practical application run and gun.

* Participant:  $75 (includes range fee)

* Male or Female who can possess or be in the presence of a firearm legally in all states and territories of the US.

* Young adult 16 years of age minimum. Must be accompanied by a registered adult participant. 

* Minimum 300 rnds of appropriate ball rnd ammunition.  No colored tip cartridges.  

* Eye protection and hearing protection are mandatory.  No Pro, No Go!

* No optics. Iron sights or after market back ups only.

* No mounted accessories. (i.e. lights, optics, silencers or infrared lasers)  

* Sling

* At least one additional magazine.

* Mag pouch for additional mag capable of being worn on your belt. No plate carriers, no chest riggs.

* Cleaning gear

* Hydration device or water bottle 

* Cap with a brim.

* Dress according to weather predictions and wear comfortable clothing and footwear. You will be moving!

* Do not wear low cut shirts, halter tops, sleeveless t-shirts or leggings. You will thank me later.

* Gloves may be worn but only if they are not excessively bulky and fit your hand properly as to not obstruct the trigger.

Be advised, SAFETY IS PARAMOUNT. Repeated Violators of safety rules will be asked to leave the course and will be refunded 50% of course fee.
