This is the last day of National Police week 2024

 

This day will consist of a 3-mile ruck march beginning at a rally point, the northeast parking lot of the downtown traffic circle.  YOU MUST BE DROPPED OFF AT THE RALLY POINT.

YOU CANNOT LEAVE YOUR VEHICLE THERE IN THE LOT. 

 

Participants must utilize a ruck, however there is no weight requirement.

Please bring a hydration device or water bottle and a towel.

March will end at the Whiteville Recreation Center.  Field day activities will be held at the east soccer field of the recreation center.

All participants MUST SIGN A RELEASE / WAIVER FORM.

Upon completion of field day activities, all participants will engage in a catered picnic in a group setting.

 

Participants must pre-register and will receive an event t-shirt and wristband at rally point 

check-in.  These MUST BE WORN DURING THE COURSE OF THIS EVENT for identification purposes.

Registration is $30 per participant.  Children 5 and under are free. NO PETS ARE ALLOWED.

Military veterans will receive a 30% discount.  Law enforcement officers, Fire fighters, EMS, that are actively on duty and in uniform may attend and eat for free.

Participants are encouraged to design and bring a custom guidon or moral flag representing  their group. NO PROFANITY OR EXPLICIT IMAGES OR PHRASES ALLOWED.

Volunteers are needed for general assistance and activities. If you would like to volunteer, you must also register as a volunteer prior to deadline.

Individuals wishing to only SPECTATE, specifically meaning, YOU WILL NOT ACTIVELY 

PARTICIPATE IN THE RUCK MARCH OR IN ANY OF THE FIELD DAY ACTIVITIES AND ONLY WATCH but will engage in the catered picnic with participants.  YOU MUST REGISTER AS A SPECTATOR for $12 and receive and wear a Spectator Wristband.
